The historical election of the first black POTUS is a positive kind of change and so far IMHO the only positive change of all the promised changes we have coming our way.
I am hopeful that a black POTUS will go a long way in healing the bitterness that SOME hold to in the black community. May this presidency carry us into an era of racial peace and kumbaya.
I must say though, race or racial peace certainly is NO reason to vote for anyone...hey, I am trying to find the silver lining here.

Thanks for the comment today, I actually didn't write the post, one of our local writers (a mom and Republican worker) did.
I wrote a post asking the question "Who Am I?" that you may find interesting.
For now, I'll support the President and President-designate. But, we need to learn from the lessons of this last election cycle ... Ron Paul, Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee ... if we don't learn we'll lose even more elections.
